Dear friends in scouting, dear friends and members of CPGS!
This was (and is) a difficult year; not least because of COVID-19, all our activities and plans for this year had to be postponed or canceled. We are missing you, our members and all the scouts connected to CPGS! We’ve had hoped to meet you, discuss with you, and work with you at the World Scout Interreligious Forum, the European Jamboree, and many other meetings and activities at World and Regional level in the course of this year. Many of you have been active in fighting the pandemic and helping in your communities. Please, tell us your stories and share your activities! Our community of Protestant scouts lives from the stories we tell each other and from what we share with each other.
But now, nonetheless, once more we are looking at the little child in the manger, born also in difficult times, to save us. Confident, we therefore wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! May God protect you and your families and bring us together again in happier times!
