General assembly 24-26 Oct 2014

Every three years, CPGS comes together to its General Assembly. At the weekend 24–26 October 2014 we met at Lutherstadt Wittenberg, the small city sout of Berlin, where Luther’s reformation began 497 years ago.

After the report about the last triennium the members present (Finland, France, and Germany) introduced each other to their activities in the spiritual dimension. An important topic was the vision for CPGS: All agreed that CPGS should have more members to be able to be more active. A positive step in this direction was the acceptance of the application for membership by the Comisión Pastoral Scout Cristiano Evangélica (COPASCE) of Scout of Argentina: Welcome!

An important part of the general assembly are the elections of the committee of CPGS. As Inka Hopsu (chairperson) and Luc Vonderweidt (2nd chairperson) did not candidate again and the post of treasurer was vacant, a new committee was elected: Annette von Stockhausen (Germany) was elected chairperson, Adrien Chaboche (France) was elected 2nd chairperson, and Magali Prévot (France) treasurer.
