World Scout Interreligious Forum 2014 in Paris

From 2–4 of December World Scout Interreligious Forum came together in Paris to its yearly meeting. It was attended by representatives of several religions: Besides the Protestants there were Catholic and Orthodox Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Won-Buddhists, and Sikhs. The meeting was also attended by Göran Hägerdal as representative of the World Scout Bureau, Kenji Takarabe of the World Scout Jamboree Office, and Patrice Brodeur of KAIICID.

The main topic of the meeting was the Faiths & Beliefs Zone at the upcoming Jamboree in Japan next year. A second topic was the implementation of a “Duty to God task force” by the World Scout committee.
